The 1963 edition of the Los Angeles Dodgers swept their way to the World Championship, effectively ending the New York Yankees stranglehold of major league dominance. This Dodgers team-signed baseball from the 1963 season contains (26) signatures from legends such as Don Drysdale and Sandy Koufax. The majority of autographs grade in the (7-8) range and are penned on an ONL Giles ball in black ink. Although the sphere reveals a spot of toning on the east panel, the signatures still project quite well. Endorsers include Sweet Spot: Alston (d.1984, 8), Durocher (d.1991, 7); West Panel: Roseboro (d.2002, 6), W. Davis, Sherry (d.2006, 7), B. Miller (d.1993, 8); East Panel: Howard, Richert, Calmus, Moon, Breedis, T. Davis, Drysdale (d.1993, 7); North Panel: Fairly, McMullen, Reiser (d.1981, 8), unidentified (probably coach), Rowe, Ferrara; South Panel: Walls (d.1993, 7), Koufax (8), Perranoski, Camilli, Podres, Skowron and M. Wills. The signatures on this baseball come with an auction COA from James Spence Authentications.
