Presented is a vintage baseball autograph album page that contains (11) signatures including Hall of Famer Herb Pennock. This pink double-sided album page measures approximately 3-1/2 x 6” and is signed in either black or blue ink. The scarce script from Pennock (d.1948, “9”) stands alone, while the hurler is joined by ten contemporaries on the page flip. Also present are George Uhle (d.1985, “9”), Earl Whitehill (d.1954, “7”), “Goldy” Goldstein (d.1993, “7”), Harry Davis (d.1997, “8”), Whitlow Wyatt (d.1999, “8”), Ray Hayworth (d.2002, “9”), Heinie Schuble (d.1990, “9”), Bucky Harris (d.1977, “7”), Nolen Richardson (d.1951, “8”) and Charles Gehringer (d.1993, “8”). With the exception of Pennock, each signatory was a member of the 1932 Detroit Tigers. This ephemera presumably dates to that period. These classic baseball signatures come with an auction COA from James Spence Authentications.
