The two participants of the 1968 Fall Classic are found in the offered period scroll pennants of the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals. Each 29-1/2” felt boasts the respective squad’s accomplishments that season and is heralded by a complete lineup of players. These scroll pennants are free of any pinholes and tightly stitched. The fragile lettering is also crisp and intact. The Tigers felt reveals some notching toward the upper-most edge, while the tip of the Cardinals pennant is slightly rounded. This duo is a prime pairing of memorabilia devoted to the hotly contested 1968 World Series.
