In the late 1980s, the trio of Jose Canseco, Ricky Henderson and Mark McGwire provided a balance of power and finesse that helped the Oakland Athletics tally up runs and win a World Championship. Offered are (3) game-used bats from these players that have been authenticated with auction LOAs from PSA/DNA. The Rawlings JC33 Jose Canseco model bat (34oz/34”) is from his 1990 season and is signed on the barrel (“9”) with the scarce “40/40” inscription in black marker. This bat exhibits several black bat rack streaks and Canseco’s 33 on the knob and the top of the barrel. The black Louisville Slugger T141 Ricky Henderson model bat (30.8oz/34”) is from his 1990 season and is signed on the barrel with gold sharpie (“6”, #24). The handle has been scored, the top handle is cracked (tape repair) and several blue ink transfer marks are present on the barrel. Henderson’s 24 is written in gold sharpie on the knob. Mark McGwire’s Rawlings 256B model bat (32.6oz/34”) from his 1989 World Championship season contains black bat rack streaks on the barrel and handle. The two signed pieces from Canseco and Henderson are accompanied by auction COAs from James Spence Authentications.
