Presented is trio of presidential items, (2) scarce Ronald Reagan pieces and a George Bush Sr. cut autograph. The highlight of this lot is a 10x8 press photo of a young Reagan posing with the House of David baseball team that grades (NM) with a rough top left edge. The House of David was a religious commune that sent out barnstorming teams across the country to spread their beliefs (which included celibacy and not cutting hair). Also included is a 1971 Inauguration Prayer Breakfast program from Reagan’s induction as the governor of California signed by several persons including Don Drysdale (d.1993), Archie Moore (d.1998) and pole-vaulting legend Bob Richards. The signatures are penned in blue ink and grade (“10”). The program is in (NM) and shows a bit of wear and minor creasing on the front and back cover. A cut sharpie signature from George Bush Sr. (“8”) rounds this lot out. All signed items come with an auction COA from James Spence Authentications.
