A trio of pieces stand out as highlights, including a 1960s White Base nodder with no cracks (EX to EX-MT), Hodges (d.1972, “9”) hand-written and signed letter to Frank Scott of the MLBPA dated to January 21, 1960 (matted and framed to 9x9) and a Cooperstown Bat signed by (23) averaging (“9”) including Agee (d.2001), Boswell, Carter, Charles, Foster, Gentry, Gooden, Grote, Harkness, Hernandez, Hickman, H. Johnson, Koosman, Kranepool, Matlack, Neal (d.1996), Sadecki, Seaver, Shamsky, Swoboda, M. Throneberry (d.1994), Wilson and A. Young. Rounding out the lot is a scarce 1969 Mr. Met pin with tassels and charm (1-1/2” diameter, EX-MT), a pair of NM 1969 Mets World Series reproduction Press Pins, c.1975 Shea Stadium 15x10 puzzle (EX-MT) and a 2000 Amazin’ Mets Frosted Flakes limited edition 20 oz. cereal box (emptied, VG-EX).
