Presented is a 1902 class jacket presumed to be a relic from a Yale University athlete. This button-up wool piece was manufactured by Retgap & Thalheimer Co. in New Haven, Connecticut and is sized by a 38 tag on the inner part of the jacket. The right breast pocket contains 02 patches along with a stencil-styled S felt patch. The jacket shows moderate wear throughout the body, shoulders and sleeves but is free of any holes or tears. The inner collar also shows some minor sweat stains.
