Description

Offered is a 1964 Hall of Fame induction signed baseball with (22) signatures. Included on this period Colt League sphere (7) are autographs from the inductees (Appling and Faber) along with pennings from the combatants in the annual Hall of Fame game, the New York Mets and Washington Senators. This ball is signed primarily in blue ink with the majority of autographs grading in the (6-7) range with some better and others lesser. Keys include Sweet Spot: Frick (d.1978, 7); West Panel: Nelson (d.1995, 6, Hall of Fame Mets broadcaster); East Panel: Appling (d.1991, 6), Rudolph (d.1968, 6); North Panel: Hodges (d.1975, 6) and Faber (d.1976, 5).
