Offered is a Jim Thorpe signed Olympic display (d.1953). This 15-3/4 x 12-3/4 framed and matted item includes an illustrated print of Thorpe adjacent to an autographed 1936 Helms World Champion and Olympic Record Book. The signature has been penned in black ink and includes a 1936 inscription. The autograph grades (6) and is affected by some smudging. This attractive and presentable piece is a wise investment in American history and is accompanied by an auction LOA from James Spence Authentications.

Thorpe was doing public relations work for Helms Bakery, LA, at Hitler's 1936 Olympic Games. Thorpe signed the program while doing the PR work. Also to be noted, Helm's Bakery supplied all the baked products for Hitler's games. Total Helms' program framed - interesting historical reading.

Also, included is a picture post card. The same picture-pose that is painted on the Capital Rotunda wall in Oklahoma, his home state.
