Offered is a magic lantern slide of the Polo Grounds stadium being built during its third incarnation in 1890. The famous Coogan’s Bluff and an overcast sky frame this black-and-white panoramic shot of the stadium while under renovation. This piece is labeled and was probably sourced from the Museum of the City of New York. The glass does not appear to contain any scratches, but a small line near the bottom edge appears to be missing some of the photograph.
